SMM Lead Midday Review: Refined Lead Suppliers Follow Market Trends, Ex-Factory Quotations Show Regional Differences. SMM, March 31: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 100 yuan/mt WoW to 17,150 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead suppliers followed market trends. Refineries in Jiangsu reported moderate refined lead transactions recently, with today's ex-factory quotations at parity or a slight premium against the SMM 1# lead average price.
SMM March 31 News: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price fell by 100 yuan/mt WoW to 17,150 yuan/mt. Suppliers of secondary refined lead followed the market trend. Smelters in Jiangsu reported moderate transactions of refined lead recently, with ex-factory prices quoted at parity or a slight premium against the SMM 1# lead average price today. In Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Anhui, ex-factory prices were at a discount of 50-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price. Today, the ex-factory prices of tax-excluded refined lead were mainly at 16,150-16,200 yuan/mt, with remote areas quoting 15,950 yuan/mt.
